Art Playground – Terms & Conditions (2026)

Welcome to Art Playground! Please take a moment to read our main policies below.
Enrolling in our classes means you agree to these terms.

FEES

Full term fees are due before the first class.
A deposit (one lesson fee) can hold your spot, but the balance must be paid on the first day.
Term fees are non-refundable once the term has commenced. In exceptional circumstances such as illness or relocation (with supporting documentation), a credit may be issued for use toward classes or holiday workshops within the same calendar year.
Missed classes are not refundable. Students may attend a make-up class in accordance with the Make-Up Classes policy.
If Art Playground cancels a class, fees will be refunded or credited.
Holiday programs are separate and charged individually.

MAKE-UP CLASSES

Please notify us at least one hour before class if your child is unable to attend. Absences without prior notice will be considered a used lesson and will not be eligible for a make-up class.
Each student is entitled to up to three make-up classes per term.
Make-up classes are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy and cannot be guaranteed.
Unused make-up classes cannot be carried over to the next term.
Make-ups must be used by the end of the following term and are not transferable.
Missed make-up sessions without notice will be forfeited.

CLASS GUIDELINES

Parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up.
Students may arrive 5–10 minutes early only.
Students should not arrive more than 10 minutes before their scheduled class time, as staff supervision may not be available before this time. Art Playground cannot accept responsibility for children left unsupervised outside of class times.
Please inform us if you will be late for pick-up — late fees may apply.
Art Playground reserves the right to discontinue enrolment for unsafe or disruptive behaviour.
Please bring a water bottle (water only).

HEALTH & SAFETY

Please keep children at home if they are unwell or contagious.
Parents must inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs.
Art Playground is not responsible for clothing stains or damage.
Parents/guardians are responsible for any emergency costs, such as ambulance or medical fees.
In the event of public health restrictions, classes may be rescheduled or moved online.

PHOTOS & MEDIA

Art Playground may take photos or videos during classes for educational or promotional use.
Parents may opt out via the online consent form.

GENERAL

Art Playground is not responsible for personal items lost or damaged.
All personal information is kept private and used only for administration and safety purposes, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Public holiday classes will be rescheduled or credited.
Art Playground reserves the right to combine, reschedule, or cancel classes if minimum enrolment numbers are not met. In this case, students will be offered an alternative class, credit, or refund.

LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

Participation in classes is at your own risk.
Art Playground and its staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in classes, except in cases of proven negligence.
Parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless Art Playground, its owners, and staff from any claims, damages, or costs resulting from participation in classes or use of our premises.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

POLICY UPDATES

Art Playground reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be available on our website or provided upon request. Continued enrolment in classes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
