Art Playground – Terms & Conditions (2025) 

Welcome to Art Playground! Please take a moment to read our main policies below. 
Enrolling in our classes means you agree to these terms.

FEES 

  • Full term fees are due before the first class. 

  • A deposit (one lesson fee) can hold your spot, but the balance must be paid on the first day. 

  • Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

  • No refunds for missed lessons (exceptions apply for illness or relocation with proof). 

  • If Art Playground cancels a class, fees will be refunded or credited. 

  • Mid-term withdrawals must be made in writing and are non-refundable. 

  • Holiday programs are separate and charged individually. 
     

MAKE-UP CLASSES 

  • Please notify us at least one hour before class if your child is unable to attend. 

  • Each student is entitled to up to three make-up classes per term. 

  • Unused make-up classes cannot be carried over to the next term. 

  • Make-ups must be used by the end of the following term and are not transferable. 

  • Missed make-up sessions without notice will be forfeited. 
     

CLASS GUIDELINES 

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. 

  • Students may arrive 5–10 minutes early only. 

  • Please inform us if you’ll be late for pick-up — late fees may apply. 

  • Art Playground reserves the right to discontinue enrolment for unsafe or disruptive behaviour. 

  • Bring a water bottle (water only). 
     

HEALTH & SAFETY 

  • Keep children at home if they are unwell or contagious. 

  • Parents must inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs. 

  • Art Playground is not responsible for clothing stains or damage. 

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for any emergency costs, such as ambulance or medical fees. 

  • In the event of public health restrictions, classes may be rescheduled or moved online. 

 

PHOTOS & MEDIA 

  • Art Playground may take photos or videos during classes for educational or promotional use. 

  • Parents may opt out via the online consent form. 
     

GENERAL 

  • Art Playground is not responsible for personal items lost or damaged. 

  • All personal information is kept private and used only for administration and safety purposes, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). 

  • Public holiday classes will be rescheduled or credited.
     

LIABILITY & INDEMNITY 

  • Participation in classes is at your own risk. 

  • Art Playground and its staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in classes, except in cases of proven negligence. 

  • Parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless Art Playground, its owners, and staff from any claims, damages, or costs resulting from participation in classes or use of our premises. 

 

GOVERNING LAW 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. 

 

By enrolling, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the Art Playground Terms & Conditions.
